What is Code Blu Tech Support?
At Code Blu Tech Support, we build custom computers for work, home, or gaming. We also repair computers at your home or business or we can service your computer at our own place of business. We offer training on various software applications and coach you on how to keep your computer from getting to the point where we're needed. We can also suggest upgrades to your computer to help it's performance and speed.
Who are the founders of Code Blu Tech Support?
Code Blu Tech Support was founded in June of 2006 by Amit Lamba and Zahid Khan. Between the two founding partners, Code Blu has over ten years of IT experience.
How far do your services reach?
Currently, Code Blu Tech Support offers support to the Hillsborough and Polk Counties in Florida. Within Hillsborough County, we cover the Apollo Beach, Balm, Bearss Plaza, Brandon, Carrollwood, Dover, Durant, Gibsonton, Lithia, Lutz, Mango, Northdale, Odessa, Plant City, Riverview, Ruskin, Seffner, Sun City, Sun City Center, Sydney, Tampa, Temple Terrace, Thonotosassa, Valrico, Wimauma, and Ybor City areas.
Within Polk County, we cover the Alturas, Auburndale, Babson Park, Bartow, Bradley, Cypress Gardens, Davenport, Dundee, Eagle Lake, Eaton Park, Eloise, Fedhaven, Fort Medade, Frostproof, Grenelefe, Haines City, Highland City, Homeland, Indian Lake Estates, Kathleen, Lake Alfred, Lake Hamilton, Lake Wales, Lakeland, Loughman, Mulberry, Nalcrest, Nichols, Poinciana, Polk City, Southside, Waverly, and Winter Haven areas.
What are your business hours?
We're open on Mondays through Friday from 10am to 9pm. On Saturday we're open from 12pm to 5pm. However, we're closed on Sundays.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Checks, Money Orders, and Cashier's Checks as payment. We hope to accept either Paypal or Google Checkout options in the near future. This would allow us to accept Credit Card payments or payments made directly from your bank account to ours via either of those payment methods. All orders $1,000.00 and above require a 50% up front payment. This allows us to make necessary purchases towards your order(s).
Do you require a signed agreement for services and orders?
When Code Blu Technicians assess your computer related needs for services or orders, we provide you with a copy of our estimate/invoice. If you agree to the services and/or orders suggested, you must sign and date our copy of the estimate/invoice. Along with this, we require a signature on our liability waiver and terms of service.
Are there any requirements for payments made with Checks?
We require either a copy of your drivers license or your drivers license number on the check. Payment for orders require one week for the check to clear before we can deliver your order.
Are there any fees for late payment or if a Check bounces?
We prefer payment upon completion of services or orders delivered. However, we do allow a 7 business day grace period before payment is required. On the 5th business day, a courtesy reminder call and e-mail is made to the customer. Starting from the 8th business day, a daily 5% late fee is assessed to your invoice. This fee is non-negotiable and is mandatory for us to recoup any late fees or penalties that may be assessed to Code Blu as a result of late payment from a customer. We will send the new amount due via a courtesy call, an e-mail, and an invoice in the mail.
If for some reason a check bounces, there will be a 10% penalty made on the total amount of the original invoice. You will be notified of the new amount that needs to be paid by a courtesy call, e-mail, and an invoice in the mail.
Are there any discounts for prompt payment?
On purchases equal to or greater than $1,000.00, we give a 5% discount for payment made immediately on completion of service or delivery of order(s). We like to reward customers who understand that running a successful business requires cooperation from everyone.
What is your policy on cancelling an order?
For any orders less than $1,000.00, we will give the customer a courtesy call to verify their intent on the order before proceeding to complete the order. If at this time the customer wishes to cancel the order, there is no penalty. However, if the customer wishes to cancel the order after the courtesy call, then there will be a 15% restocking fee that must be made on the total amount of the order(s).
Orders equal to and greater than $1,000.00 require a 50% immediate payment. If for any reason there is a cancellation made after the courtesy call involving orders equal to or above $1,000.00, there will be a 15% restocking fee on the total amount of purchases made by Code Blu up to that point. This will be taken from the 50% immediate payment while the remaining amount is returned to the customer.
Do you accept online payment via your website?
Currently, we don't have services to accept online payment on our website. At this moment we are researching either to implement online payment either through Paypal or Google Checkout. We will be updating our website to let you know when this service is implemented. When this service is offered through our website, we will be able to accept payment via Credit Cards and through direct deposit from your account to ours via either Paypal or Google Checkout.
Do you allow for other businesses to advertise on your site?
Yes, as long as your business is not in direct competition with Code Blu. Currently we have advertising packages starting at $100/month for text ads placed on the right sidebar. We also have banner ads for $250/month that will be placed in the right sidebar. Contact us for more information, to setup an ad package plan, or to discuss our traffic statistics. Just type 'Advertising' into the subject section of our contact form. Your ad will be visible on all our pages.
